Daniel A. Lichauco

Daniel A. Lichauco is a founding partner and managing principal of Archion Architects, a Manila-based practice. He earned his architecture degree at the University of Santo Tomas and pursued graduate studies in architecture, urban planning, and architectural history at the University of Michigan and the University of Notre Dame.

A Registered Architect and a Fellow of the United Architects of the Philippines, Lichauco brings more than three decades of experience across architecture, interiors, urban design, and master planning. He is widely regarded for healthcare architecture, having led the design of the Healthway Cancer Care Center, positioned as the country's first hospital dedicated to comprehensive cancer treatment.

His firm's portfolio spans hospitals, offices, and institutional work. The Manta Corporate Plaza reached the World Architecture Festival shortlist, and during the COVID-19 pandemic Lichauco led the retrofit of the Philippine General Hospital for negative-pressure isolation. He also teaches architecture at the University of Santo Tomas and National University.
